A few things to know.

Does NewzDeck include Usenet access?

No. NewzDeck is a client application. You provide your own Usenet provider account and NNTP server credentials.

Do I need an indexer?

Direct newsgroup browsing works with your Usenet provider. Automation and Interactive Search can use a configured Newznab-compatible indexer.

Can downloads continue when I close NewzDeck?

Yes. NewzDeck includes a Windows background service and system tray runtime so downloads and automation can continue without the main window staying open.

Does NewzDeck organize completed media?

Yes. Smart Import can identify supported TV and movie downloads, protect against duplicates, rename files and move them into configured library folders.

Is NewzDeck signed?

Not currently. Windows may show an Unknown Publisher or SmartScreen warning. Release checksums are published on GitHub for verification.

Is NewzDeck free?

Yes. NewzDeck is free and open-source software. There is no NewzDeck subscription fee, although your Usenet provider and any third-party indexer may have their own costs.
